Chelsea Triumph Sinks Spurs to Europa League

Despite finishing 4th in the Premier League Tottenham Hotspur will once again play in the Europa League next season, thanks to Chelsea’s Champions League victory.

A top four finish in the Premier League usually provides entry to Europe’s elite club competition, but with the holders Chelsea failing to qualify automatically through a league position, Spurs a somewhat sacrificed to make way for the holders.

Chelsea’s shootout win against Bayern leaves Harry Redknapp in a difficult situation this summer and one of uncertainty as to where his star players will see their future.

The Men Who Could Lead Team GB to Gold at the 2012 London Olympics

The “Group of Death” is the pick of the bunch, with Germany, Holland, Portugal and Denmark all competing for a place in the quarter finals.
Picking one player from each of these nations is by far the most difficult choice out of any in the tournament.

Chelsea set for Changing of the Old Guard Despite Champions League Progress

As written for www.caughtoffside.com

Andre Villas-Boas let out a great sigh of relief last night as Chelsea qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League after a fine 3-0 win over Valencia at Stamford Bridge last night.
